Primary and Secondary Boot loader Info

Hi,

As I know SPI Nor Flash boot is supported in 66AK2E02/05's MCSDK. Where Uboot resides in SPI Flash. Kernel and Filesystem resides eitherr in NAND or USB.

Would be interested in knowing whether any small boot loader (primary/secondary) is available in SPI Nor Flash, that will load Uboot, Kernel and Filesystem from USB? As I require memory in SPI Flash to store FPGA binary as well in my custom design.

Hi,
It depends on your application design. The RBL loads the u-boot from SPI/NAND flash depends on the boot mode selected. Please refer MCSDK explore wiki for more information. Please refer the MCSDK user guide link below my signature.

Hi,

You can boot the u-boot from SPI flash and get the kernel and filesystem from either NAND or USB.
