Keystone 2 10Gb Ethernet interfaces debugging and tracing

Hello,

I've started work on 10GbE links of K2, which are used extensively in our product. I'm just wondering what are methods available for debugging and tracing status of these links. Could someone advice me what should I use to, e.g.:

- inspecting link quality,
- check status of dropped packets,
- status about link negotiation,
- possible reasons of dropped link.

Is there also possible eye diagram state, I mean if HW support such statistics?

Hi,
You can check the keystone 10GbE subsystem registers, MDIO link status reg, PHY link status reg etc.,
Please refer to the keystone 10GbE user guide.

Hello,
I checked the document you point out. I wanted to check chapter 3.5 about PCS description. Unfortunately description of status registers (most of registers in fact) is marked "TBD".
Is there any update of this document or another source of information about meaning of these registers?

PCS-R does not need to be configured for XGE, hence they are not defined.
