Hi,

It is a expected behavior for run this PCIe_boot example via CCS. This example only works on PCIe boot mode only. Linux host loader Example (PCIe_demo) load/run the pcieboot_helloworld example generated header file to C66xx specific core via PCIe port.

The Linux host loader Example only works on Linux PC. Please refer “\ti\mcsdk_x_xx_xx_xx\tools\boot_loader\examples\pcie\docs\Readme.pdf” document for more information.

It is PCIe boot example. what is the intention for test this example in no-boot mode via CCS?

Because of I did not get correct result when tested this example from Linux host.

Once more detail - I tested this example under CCS in No boot mode and in ROM PCIE Boot mode.
It worked well in both.

Yes, I did all step by step.
All worked as wrote readme, except the final stage. MAGIG_ADDRESSes did not contain MAGIC_NUMBER.
They still contain address of the _c_int00 and I had no another ideas except to test it under CCS.
But under CCS all work well.

Have you read the all cores(1-7) Boot Magic address?

Core0 boot all the other cores by writing the address of _c_int00 to the magic address on other cores and sending an IPC interrupt to other cores. The RBL running on other cores will jump to _c_int00 and start to boot. As per the example each core will write 0xBABEFACE to its magic address by running a function write_boot_magic_number().

Yes, I have read the all cores(1-7) Boot Magic addresses.

As I wrote all MAGIG_ADDRESSes did not contain MAGIC_NUMBER. They still contain address of the _c_int00.

So Core1-Core7 did not wake up.
