OpenCL Support for Advantech's DSP-868x

Regarding this thread:

Is there OpenCL support for Advantech's DSP-868x? According to the thread, in 2013 there was an alpha release. There are updates? We're able to get it from Advantech or TI?

We have not yet productized our OpenCL support for the DSPC868x platform. However, We are seeing an increase in requests for this product and we do plan to make it available as an early adopter alpha within the next few days. I will post back here when it is available.

FYI: It will only support 64-bit Ubuntu 12.04 running on your host and it will only support the DSPC8681 card from Advantech.

The wiki page http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/OpenCL_on_DSPC8681 describes the download and setup of OpenCL for execution on a 12.04 Ubuntu linux system with an installed Advantech DSPC8681 PCIe card.

Consider this an early adopter release.
