Saving PCM data captured by AIC3204 in AAC format on SD card, TMS320C5535

I would like to know how can I use AAC encoder to convert the data captured by AIC3204 into format recognizable by windows pc and save it on SD card. The data which is provided by AIC3204 is in PCM format and i would like to save it in SD card in AAC format and if possible wma format.

Amit,

The encoding would need to be implemented in the C5535. I think they are able to do mp3 if I am not mistaking. I'll move this to the C5x forum.

Hi,

We do apologise that audio codecs are still available for download

software-dl.ti.com/.../index_FDS.html

but are no longer being actively developed or maintained. Please consider codecs from our Third Party Catalog. and Ittiam is a good specific 3P for reference.

May be, you can download the AAC encoder from the above source and convert the data to the desired format which you require.
