Delfino TMS320F28377D package not in SYSBIOS

Hi All,

I am new to SYSBIOS and currently trying to port old code of TMS320F2808 with DSP/BIOS to Delfino TMS320F28377D control card with SYS/BIOS.

The old code has custom memory sections created and defined in DSP/BIOS, hence I want to replicate similar sections in SYSBIOS for Delfino.

 For the purpose, I am trying to create new platform of Delfino with custom memory sections using CCS, File>>New>>Other>>RTSC>>New RTSC Platform wizard.

CCS  Version: 6.1.0.00104 

XDS Version: xdctools_3_31_01_33_core

SYSBIOS Version: bios_6_41_04_54

In this Wizard I can see C2800 platform in Device Family drop-down, but the the "Delfino TMS320F28377D" is not listed under Device Name??.

I also tried to use "View/Edit Platform" option from this wizard with Platform Package Repository: D:\ti\bios_6_41_04_54\packages [SysBios path].

I tried to modify Platform: ti.platforms.tms320x28, but on the next stage I see the device selected as TMS320F28069 and do not find Delfino in "Import" .

Can anyone please guide me, if I am doing anything wrong or using wrong tool versions??? Please help me with steps to create memory segments in Delfino platform...

    Thanks for your immediate response.
    I have already read this forum page and links embedded in it. But it is regarding CCS 5.5 support and about not at all having support of TMs320F28377D in Sys/Bios.
    I already have CCS 6.1 with latest XDS tools and Sys/BIOS package. I can import Delfino F2837xD example codes from Control Suite for Sys/Bios and can successfully run them on control card.
    But I am not able to create new platform with custom memory segments for Delfino F2837xD using RTSC platform wizard in CCS 6.1.
    I need help in creating Sys/BIOS configuration having custom memory segments. could you please suggest a way or steps for it??

    which platform is used in your example from Control Suite? I am guessing it's ti.platforms.tms320x28. That platform doesn't need SYS/BIOS support for your specific device (F2837xD), it only needs a linker command file, and then in that linker command file you can replicate your memory setup from DSP/BIOS.
    The Platform Wizard requires that SYS/BIOS contains the configuration support for your device, and as far as I can tell there is no such support in 6.41.04.54. So, your best option is to just copy whatever is used in your Control Suite example. Finally, the fact that SYS/BIOS does not contain the configuration support for F2837xD doesn't mean that your device is not supported. If you look at the release notes you'll find F28377D listed as a supported device.
