Hearing aid with a TMS320C6727 DSP

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C6727

Hello,
First I want to apologize in advance because my English is not good (I am Spanish).

Secondly I want to talk about why I'm writting here:

I study a university degree (Telecommunications Engineering). A year ago I passed all my exams but to obtain the title I need to do a final project.
For personal reasons I have not been able to steer this project and I'm here looking for your help on my road (In two months I must have this almost finished project)

Third place I explain you a bit about this project:
Is the implementation of a hearing aid on a DSP platform, (Implementing real-time audio encoder with a low delay on
DSP).
To do this I have thought to use the technique WOLA (Weighted Overlap-Add), which I have already implemented in Matlab, and this is all I know ...
I don't know so much about the DSP or how be programmed into it.
I not even I know about the questions to do but I hope that gradually can help me fly.

My DSP: TMS320C6727

Thanks and regards

  • Hi Josema,

Apologies, We do not support matlab related solutions.

Their are CSL based example codes for C6727 which might help you out in your project.
As you are doing some audio encoder stuff, their is a McASP example code

    Check the below mentioned link,
    http://www.ti.com/tool/sprc223

After unzipping it you will find McASP example code in-
