DEVSTAT register - watch and change

Hello again.

Where i can watch the state of DEVSTAT register in tms320c6670l. He's not appearing in "Registers" section of Code composer studio. Also where can i change his state?

Hello Taras,

You can read the DEVSTAT register in CCS by reading its appropriate register address. You can find the register address in section 3.3 Device State Control Registers in the device data manual.

This DEVSTAT register will be loaded with the value from boot configuration pins. Please refer section 2.4 Boot Modes Supported and PLL Settings for the details.

Hi,
What is your processor and board ?
Have you tried to change the DEVSTAT register through CCS memory window (0x02620020) but not through code ?
Please make sure that you have used correct memory address for DEVSTAT register.

My board is TMDSEVM6670L, with tms320c6670l processor. For now i'm just trying to watch register expression to make sure the correct boot mode (ethernet boot). If not, i will try to change the register expression trough code

I'm able to set the bootmode bits in code.

I hope, we would get 0x3A85 value for ethernet boot mode.

Thank you.

Now i see, that my boot mode was not Ethernet. I've checked the jumpers configuration, but it's right one, except maybe SW9.

I have all SW9 jumpers on
