A customer performed a fresh install of CCSv4 v4.1.1.0014 from the wiki and attemp to connect to the LogicPD OMAP EVM. They followed the wiki http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/How_to_connect_to_the_OMAP-L138/C6748_EVM_board_using_CCS%3Fand got stuck after selecting Spectrum Digital XDS510 USB Emulator. Nothing shows up when they typed OMAPL in the "device" entry. Also Help--> SW update did not help.
If this is true or possible can someone help with information on how one can download the missing device and/ or board xml files for OMAPL138 and OMAPL138 EVM?
Another option is following the instructions in the http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Creating_Custom_Target_Configurations wiki, but that page only shows the steps without explaining how one goes about figuring out which router, bypass or ETBs. It should mention that the datasheet contains the emulation connection (section 6.33) and correlate that info with the figures.
