Hi,
We need an advice regarding the AM3359 with TPS65910A3x connection.
Our cusomter's earlier circuit was designed with TPS65910A31
and TPS65910A31's VRTC output is connected to AM3359's VDDS_RTC pin as
per the document SWCU093C.
But unfortunately while assembling the components, they have installed TPS65910A3
instead of TPS65910A31.
We would like to know will it be OK to use TPS65910A3 as it is without changing the
circuit or the device.
As per the documents the difference between TPS65910A3 and TPS65910A31 is the VRTC power
mode in OFF state.As RTC is not used in this applicaition, we think it will be ok to
connect VRTC of TPS65910A3 to AM335x's VDDS_RTC.
Please let me know if the best option is to re-design the circuit
or we could continue with the current design.
