VIN and VOUT modes

Hi,

We are using DM8148 on our custom board. The VIN and VOUT are connected to FPGA which feeds the data. My question is what are the parameters configured for VIN and VOUT. which mode both will operate. From the capture parameters I understood VIN is working in NON-MUX Embedded sync. Which mode does VOUT works. ?? On what pins does VOUT gives data. I want to operate in 422 mode.Can I loop back VOUT and VIN in fpga and capture data on VIN. Does both works in same mode ??

Vout supports many modes, one of them can be used for YUV422 16bit emb sync output, you could capture the same data on VIN.
Yes, You could configure VIN and VOUT to work on the same mode.Rgds,Brijesh

Hi Bijesh,
Thanks for the reply. Right now we are stuck with the tied VENC Concept. I configured VOUT in YUV422 16 bit Emb sync mode. VIN is also in same mode. But due to Tied display I am unable to loop back the data, capture it and display on HDMI.
