We are using the IPNC_RDK v3.8 on our proprietary HW.
I chose WhiteBalance mode as DAY_D55 - since the camera will be filming outdoors. At night, though, the color scheme may change - streetlights, etc.
Are the AWB values updated periodically? Are they sensitive to extreme changes of lighting conditions?
Below are 2 pictures. 1st one taken with my smartPhone camera and the other, pinkish one, with the MT9J003 10Mp sensor in our proprietary camera. For some reason the extra-bright light sets off the AWB - so the picture is reddish (too much R).
The feeling I have is that the AWB parameters are set onceand left that way all the time the camera is running.
Is there any dynamic update of the AWB parameters?
