Basic Secure Boot of TMS320C6748

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAPL138

We are using a TMS320C6746 which is booted over SPI in Slave Mode. Due to long lead times for TMS320C6746EZWTD4 we are looking at the possibility to replace it with TMS320C6748EZWTD4E. But we are not sure if booting over SPI in Slave Mode will work with the enabled Basic Secure Boot of 6748.

From the page, http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Basic_Secure_Boot_for_OMAP-L138_C6748, one can read the following where SPI Slave Mode seems not to be an option.

[GENERAL]
  ; Can be 8 or 16 - used in emifa (NOR boot mode)
  busWidth=8

  ; SPIMASTER,I2CMASTER,EMIFA,NAND,EMAC,UART,PCI,HPI,USB,MMC_SD,VLYNQ,RAW
  BootMode=Specify boot mode (typically use NONE).  Some boot modes can require
           certain extra information beyond the actual AIS data. The tools
           may support generating this information depending on the boot mode selection.

So, the question is if the Basic Secure Boot Enabled will give us any problem when replacing the TMS320C6746EZWTD4 with TMS320C6748EZWTD4E?
