Using DDR2 with Sitara Processor

Hi, I am currently working with a customer who is interested in using DDR2 with the Sitara processor (Micron # MT46H32M16LFBF). The customer would be very interested in knowing more about DDR2 hardware interface requirements, terminations schemes, and example designs. Where can my customer find this information, is there a particular section of the Sitara processor datasheet you would recommend I tell my customer to take a look at? Are there previous posts on E2E where this is all discussed?

Also, for Non-Volatile Memory, my customer hopes to use Spansion # S29GL128-01GS, a 128 Mb NOR flash. This NOR flash chip will hook up to the asynchronous memory interface.The customer doesn't expect any issues here, but if there are any special requirements, it would be good to provide this information to my customer.

The DDR2 design guidelines can be found in section 7.7.2.2 of the AM335X Datasheet Rev. H. Links to reference design board files can be found here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM335x_Boards Most reference designs current versions use DDR3, however GP EVM Rev. 1.4 and Beaglebone White use DDR2 and can be used as a reference. As for the NOR Flash question, I suggest your customer read very carefully section 26.1.7.2 of the AM335X TRM Rev. L. Special attention should be paid to the "Pins Used" part (section 26.1.7.2.2).
