I have been going through TRM of AM335X and I am confused with AAD multiplexed GPMC interface shown in Figure 7-15/16:-
Can someone give me a practical example of usage of such interface because the interface seems strange to me as on 16 bit muxed bus A[16:1]/D[15:0], first MSB is placed and then LSB. Here MSB and LSB is wrt to the 16 bit address or the complete address because A[27:17] is also the part of the address? Why such placing of address will be required? Why during placing of address, OEn is asserted which is normally during data output stages from the device? Is there some typical hardware arrangement where such thing is required?
Please explain.
