AM3358 Power Consumption

Hi Team,

I noticed a discrepancy between the typical power consumption for nitro mode found on the wiki and what is shown when I run the AM335x power estimation spreadsheet.

- Why does the wiki show 94.24mA for VDDS_DDR, while the spreadsheet report shows 3mA?

- Also, Why does Vddshv6 consume 10.38mA in OS idle compared to the 0.67mA in Dhrystone?

Hi Biser,

Can you comment on why the VDDS_DDR power is much lower on the estimation spreadsheet than the Wiki?

I don't think 3mA is that much lower than 9mA. For one thing the GP EVM that is used for measurements has 2 DDR3 loads on the EMIF. Another thing that I notice is that you have given a device junction temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. This would mean an ambient temperature around 0 degrees.
