Downloading modified program to c5515fdk without an emulator

I don't have the kit, but the page claims

JTAG emulation through mini converter board included in the kit

The mini converter board provides JTAG connector as there is no JTAG connector in the core board and extension board. An emulator needs to be connected to this mini converter board for performing the emulation. Since this kit is a development kit, there should be a provision in the kit itself to download the modified code to the DSP similar to the provisions available in Evaluation module and eZDSP USB development kit.  Whether there is any such provision is not clear.

I have the same problem, did you find to any other way except the emulator to load the program to DSP memory for this platform.
