CCS is not connecting Target (DVR RDK 8168) via blackhawk USB560V2 system trace emulator

The above one is tested with Ubuntu 10.04 operating system.

Dear Sir,

It is showing error message as "Unable to load ../../../emulation/tpi/libtpitrace.so: /usr/local/CCSv5/ccsv5 ccs_base_5.0.3.00028/DebugServer/bin/linux_ia32/../../../emulation/tpi/libtpitrace.so: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory when connect to target from ccs 5.0 version. can you mail me if you have video link so that it will be useful to connect with the system?

Are you using CCS 6 or CCS 5?

CCS5.0

It is showing as blackhawk usb560v2 system trace emulator is unknown in ccs6.0

In the Blackhawk site is stated that USB560v2 STM works with CCSv4, CCSv5 and CCSv6. It is stated also USB560v2 STM supports DM8168 device.

Do you have license to use this emulator with CCSv5?

i got the error as below. can you mail me where i have to include arm compiler and how to fix it?

make: arm-none-linux-gnueabi-gcc: Command not found
make: *** No rule to make target `menuconfig'. Stop.

You can not use "make menuconfig" for u-boot, this command is valid only for linux kernel.

Can you also type "echo $ARCH" and then "echo $CROSS_COMPILE", what is the result? Can you also try with "make distclean" and "make" commands?

P.S. I do not see how this is related to CCSv5 USB560v2 usage!

I got nothing after executed echo $ARCH and $CROSS_COMPILE.

make distclean and make are showing error message as "no rule to make target distclean" and similar for make

Which toolchain you are using? Is it CodeSourcery 2009-q1 or arago v2011.09 or esle?
