Confusion regarding image processing using l138 lcdk

Hi, I am doing an image ion project and I want to do it using l138 lcdk. I initially tried CCstudio and jtag method and I was successful with simple image processing operations. But my project needs the RGB image components and the opencv library so I got confused and then I learned about the lsdk , I was able to set up the l138 but I learned that it is arm centric and I feel totally lost in the mess. Please guide me how I should proceed.

If you are looking for a low cost development platform the OMAPL138 based LCDK should be a good starting point:

there is a face detection demo on that platform that demonstrates the use of OpenCV on the C674x DSP. In addition to OpenCV, we also support a large number of DSP optimized libraries for image and vision processing:

For C6748 LCDK, a face detect demo project was already available which uses the open CV library for identifying the face. You can try importing that project and have alook at how the open cv libraries are included for image processing.

Thanks sivaraj things have become a little more clearer to me regarding the omap l138. But all along my initial hiccup was how to read an image coz my algorithm works on the rgb components of a rgb color image. Could you please help me regarding the same
