EVM6657 -NDK -winapps applications

Hi,

I am using the EVM6657 board. The Ti- EVMC6657 Board supports GBit ethernet port.How can the applications send.exe and recv.exe prove this ,which are available under winapp? 1GBit Ethernet means we have to send 1Gbit data per second. But the application send.exe is sending only some bytes per second not 1Gbit data per second?

Hi,
Try to increase the size of "BUFSIZE" in send.c and recv.c files from "winapps" directory to/from send/receive.

Hi,

i in increased to 1GByte -> #define BUFSIZE 1073741824.

But it takes too long and around 2 mins to get each trace message as mentioned below with 6 trace messages.

Hi,

have you got any feedback from your colleagues?. As it is urgent for us to test our custom board. our custom board also have GBit Ethernet like EVM6657. And the functions send.exe and recv.exe exactly works like EVMBoard. But if we prove the same functions works with EVM6657board, then we can release our custom board.

Hi,

I think, you may not get exact 1Gb speed.

Try to send the data at 200,400,800Mpbs speed.

Try to increase the NDK buffers (PKT_NUM_FRAMEBUF) to 5x or 6x times in the following line.

D:\<NDK dir>\packages\ti\ndk\stack\pbm\pbm_data.c

Ex:

D:\ndk_2_22_02_16\packages\ti\ndk\stack\pbm\pbm_data.c
