I am using an AM335x ARM Cortex A-8. Is it possible to use the debian files for my device? I am trying to install an MQTT broker called mosquitto onto the sitara device. This is what I would like to install if possible: Does anyone have any experience in this? Any help would really be appreciated.
Technical details: I am using SSH to program/ install Mosquitto Hardware: Generic AM33XX Linux Version: 3.14.26-g2489c02
Sorry if I confused you, I am really new to all of this. Thank you!
Hi,
I presume that you want to install "MQTT" debian package into AM335x device.
It depends on filesystem type say, debian, redhat etc.,
If you want to install any debian files (*.deb) then you have to use "debian" filesystem for your AM335x board.
I hope you may get debian filesystem for AM335x from beagle board community.
