EVMK2E USAGE OF (port1) USB (version 3.0)

Hello,

Please clarify the following questions regarding EVMK2E board

1. Does the PC detect the USB or not. Also USB(Port 1) 3.0 as mentioned in the manual is for (host and device) not host only. 

2. We want to transfer data from pc to board is that possible?

    Though the manual says that the USB 3.0 supports both host and device, the device mode is not tested and validated in the EVMK2E board. And we do not have software driver support for device mode of operation.

    2. We want to transfer data from pc to board is that possible?

    It is possible to transfer data from PC to EVMK2E board through USB 3.0 but we do not support device driver as a part of McSDK. If you really need to work on this mode of operation, you are required to develop your own device driver for USB 3.0 based on McSDK.

    Seems you are creating multiple threads for this same query. I would request you not to create duplicate post and you can followup on the single thread, we could help you and do support for your followup post also. It is not meant like we would support on new threads only.
