TCI6614 CPTS reset procedure

Hi,

My customer want to reset the TCI6614 CPTS when some issue occurred on the 1588, will this operation impact the PA and SA? If it's feasible, could you please provide a procedure? Thank you very much.

Hi Raja,

My concern of reset the CPTS is the impact for other module, due to CPTS is inside the CPSW, and some event is generated by the CPSW module, if a 1588 packet is detected, and the CPTS event is generated, but we disable the CPTS then, will this operation result the CPSW or CPTS function failure? So we need a clear procedure to reset the CPTS or confirm whether it's feasible or not.
