AM437x - Ubuntu 12.04 or 14.04 for Native OS?

Hi,

According to this wiki (), it says that the SDK can be used with Ubuntu 12.04 or 14.04. Does this mean Ubuntu is running on the cross compiler machine or the AM437x or both?

I am interested in running Ubuntu 14.04 on the AM437x natively, but the wiki wasn't clear on whether that is possible or not.

    The wiki says that your HOST (cross compiler) machine should be running Ubuntu 12.04 or Ubuntu 14.04.

    There are still NO Ubuntu for AM437x. Official linux distro for AM437x is the TI SDK.

    Is there a way for my customer to use an Ubuntu file system with the Linux 3.14 kernel (assuming they may need to do extensive porting)?

    I'm trying to remember if I was able to do that on OMAP4 Pandaboard, but I can't remember exactly.
