Any guidelines on porting Linux kernel to AM335x

Hi Experts,

Is there any general guidelines on porting Linux kernel versions for the AM335x EVM or have to only use the official SDK provided by TI ?

Hi Lyf,

You can use the free-electrons guides, i.e.:
free-electrons.com/.../kernel-porting.pdf

There are no official TI guides. As a general rule you cut most of the modules, leaving only the basic kernel functionality to boot the board, and then add peripheral drivers one by one.
