AREVTE and AREVTO event map on AM335x McASP

Hi,

I didn't find EDMA Event No. for MCASP AREVTE and AREVTO in AM335X TRM 11.3.19.

Does AM335X McASP support AREVTE and AREVTO events?

But it can be found in DM648 documentation.

Hi Gary,

See Table 22-2 in the AM335X TRM Rev. L:

"DMA Requests: 2 DMA requests per instance to EDMA (Transmit: AXEVTx, Receive: AREVTx)"

Do you mean that McASP0 AREVTE and AREVTO are also mapped Event 9 which AREVT0 is mapped , right?

No, I mean they are not mapped. There is a note in TRM section 22.3.14.2 that says:

"Check the device-specific data manual to see if AXEVTO/AREVTO and AXEVTE/AREVTE are supported. These are optional."
