Hi,

I am working on ipnc rdk version 3.8 on my custom board. I already talk about ROI with you.

I want to do ROI like same as below as My Requirement :

The entire image will be captured, as a static cached image, at a configurable rate such as every 60 seconds. The constantly changing ROI based on the FPS will be overlaid on the static cached image. The static area of the image will result in reducing the bandwidth consumption as the compression algorithm should be able to encode it more efficiently.

Can you please let me know, exactly same working ROI in IPNC RDK version 3.8 ? or Any changes ?

If changes then can you please provide patch for same..??

Hi Sandip,

I didn't get your Requirement. According to my understanding of your statement is below along with few queries :

1). After every 60sec(i.e 1800 frames considering 30fps), the input captured frame is still( same input as previous frame).

2). ROI coordinated changes for every frame.

3). The static input frame will be more compressed then the non static frame.

For all the three points above, no changes is required in the Codec side. Let me know if my understanding of your requirement is wrong.
