counter programming in beagle bone black

i have compile dmtimerCounter.c. i have include these file also in particular directory "consoleUtils.h" "soc_AM335x.h" "beaglebone.h" "interrupt.h""dmtimer.h" "error.h" " hw_dmtimer.h" "hw_intc.h" "hw_types.h"


i have compile using this command gcc -c -I /path of the directory/ dmtimerCounter.c -o timer it's compiling fine and i have change mode of the output file by "chmod +x file" command but when i run that file it say "-bash: ./file: cannot execute binary file"
i don't know to solve this problem could you help me please.

Hi,
You have to cross compile this project to run on AM335x.
For that, you have to import this project in our TI's CCS IDE and do "Rebuild".

You have to install CCS IDE in Linux or Windows PC.

    Does the CCS IDE support Gtk(using c language) software?
