Hi, I am enrolled in a TI's DSP class at University of California, Irvine extension/online using the C5510 DSK. When our class was running some of the real time experiments taken from the text book software CD, we found that the cbd files' DSP/BIOS is incompatible withe the purchased C5510 DSK OS version. Here is the information: Error: Filename: quantAudio.cdb File version: Version 4.80.158 Problem: File version is not compatible with the Code Composer BIOS version Message: Please open this file in the Configuration Tool and update. The OS version of the CCS v3.1 I got from the OS Selector is: Location: C:\CCStudio_v3.1\cc\bin\BIOS_OSAware.dll Version: 5.90.0.227 Description: DSP/BIOS v4.90 OSAware Driver Does the DSP/BIOS of the 3rd party software be updated? If so, how. If not, can the DSP/BIOS of the CCS be rollbacked? The software was taken from the 2006 2nd edition text book "Real-Time Signal Processing" by Kuo, Lee and Tian. Thanks
