DM355 IPNC issues in latest release V2.5

Hello,

Got latest V2.5 release of IDM355 PNC software. Loaded prebuilt binaries according to instructions. 2 issues:

1) Which of the 3 supplied UBL files is the correct one ?

ublDM355-nand-270_216 works but only when debug board is connected. When not connected to debug board, the ethernet never initializes. Of course, without debug board you don't get console messages so it's tough to see what's going on.

ublDM355-nand-270_171 boots up with or without debug board but seems unstable

ublDM355-nand-216_171 seems ok but may be too slow for all the demos and applications ?

2) Sound works but plays at lower than natural pitch, so there is a sampling clock error somewhere. This used to work correctly on older IPNC releases

Also a question: Is DM355 IPNC stuck at MontaVista 4 (2.6.10) for a specific reason ? Any known problems if recompiled using MontaVista 5 ?

Comment> this UBL work fine, it look like this might be running to diagnostic mode.

ublDM355-nand-216_171 seems ok but may be too slow for all the demos and applications ?

Comment> first number like 270 or 216 mentioned in the UBl represent the ARM frequency and next one like 216 or 171 is the DDR frequency. SO it will be slower when move to slower UBL. According to our test, all the 3 UBL files are correct, It depends on what the config DM355 is. (216 or 270 MHz ).

    2) Sound works but plays at lower than natural pitch, so there is a sampling clock error somewhere. This used to work correctly on older IPNC releases

Comment> We will check this and get back

Comment>  That was the last relase IPNC supports on DM355.  We havent tried compiling using MVtools 5
