Hi Gurus,

I have couple of question with the eZdsp development board.

1. What DSP in the the above mentioned line can be used to load sensory speech recognition technologies

2. Does C5535 eZdsp board come preloaded with Sensory Technologies ?

Hi,

Below are the answers to your questions :

A1: TI’s C55x (C5515/35) family of DSPs (with HWAFFT) is well suited for low power fully embedded speech recognition applications.

A2: No, the eZdsp isn’t pre-loaded with Sensory Technology.

Thanks for your reply, I am new to eZdsp development board. I have couple of more questions about it.

1. does HWAFFT technology available on C5532/33/34 ?
2. How to use this technology ?
3. Can i program using the CC Studio ?
4. if yes to 3, can we choose our own trigger word ?

Hi,

Here are my response.

1.No, it’s not supported. You can find this information in the datasheet ( SPRS737C ) aswell.

2. Suggest you to go through the Technical reference manual – You can find it in C5535 product folder http://www.ti.com/product/TMS320C5535

3. Yes.

4. Couldn’t get what exactly you meant by trigger word. Pl elaborate.

Hi Trigger or Hi Blue Genie, then only it looks in the words in the dictionary and the appropriate action is taken.
