Hi..

At presently I need to interface the AM437x cortex 9 GP EVM with LVDS connector 15" display (part no: AUO G150XG01 V3). I have completed the PCB fabrication. Now I need to change the Board Support Package according to this 15" inch display.

Is it possible to change?

Did i need any support from TI peoples?

please provide me some guidance related to this.

Hi,

You only need to change the display timings in the device tree file to suit your display.

Is it possible to interface 15" inch LVDS connector with the same BSP available in the AM437x gp EVM?

Do you have an RGB to LVDS translator on your board? It's impossible to connect an LVDS display directly to the AM437X.

I have done an external RGB to LVDS transalator Board using SN75LVDS84A IC.

Wheather we need to do change in the BSP?

Hi,

You shouldn't need any modifications to your kernel, except, as Biser already mention, the display timings.
