Is it possible to override SYSBOOT inputs by software?

E.C. that after a soft reset, the boot seq values will be used not from the LCD_DATA strap, but a software defined.

Hi Gaby,

This is not possible. The SYSBOOT values are latched in the control_status register. While it's true that these are not re-latched during a soft reset, this register is read-only and cannot be modified by software.

As I understand, the control_status register shows only a reflection of sysboot, and even if it was a writeable register, changing it value doesn't affect boot mode status

This is the register from which ROM code takes the boot device list after reset.
