Hi,

We are desgin AM335x custom board.
I have somq qury ?
In video section which framebuffer file used in AM335x.I am using kernel version 3.14.

drivers/video/fbdev/da8xx-fb.c is need or not ?

How to flow lcd to fbev ?

Hi Tejas,

The da8xx-fb.c is the framebuffer driver in the Sitara kernel.
In order to enable the framebuffer, you first need to disable the DRM driver:
CONFIG_DRM=n
CONFIG_DRM_I2C_NXP_TDA998X=n
CONFIG_DRM_TILCDC=n
Then enable the FB support:
CONFIG_FB_DA8XX=y
CONFIG_FB_DA8XX_TDA998X=y

You can configure the above either in menuconfig, or directly in the defconfig file located in arch/arm/configs/
