OMAPL138 switching ARM9 to supervisor mode

I see other posts that say generating a software interrupt is the way to switch to supervisor mode.

Can anyone provide a simple example of code that will do this and switch to supervisor mode?  Using CCS v6 and the OMAPL138 LCDK.
