Hello TI. We are currently making a custom board based on DM8168. There is an option to use 8-bit NAND or 16-bit. We have 2 developer board:
1) Z3 DM8168 pci rps with 8bit NAND
2) Spectrum Digital DM8168 EVM
U-boot from DVRRDK 4.01 works on both when downloaded from the network but it works only Spectrum Digital when flashed to NAND. The problem may be associated with Z3 board. Will it be OK to use 8-bit nand? Are there any possible software issues with 8-bit nand?
