Hello All,

I have DVEVM dm6446 with PCI jtag xds560 and CCS v3.3

I can't work with linux, only with windows, i downloaded loopback test for arm side from c6000.spectrumdigital.com/.../revd, it works and i need get pixels of input frames for realization canny algorithm, is it possible only with CCS?

I don't have an idea about canny algorithm.
Yes, it is possible to build your canny algorithm code on CCS and able to run if you have code in "C" or "C++".

The best place to start for understanding the way to work with linux is by following a workshop

The best solution we currently have for implementing arbitrary algorithm functionality with Codec Engine is the IUNIVERSAL API, see the wiki article on Getting Started with IUNIVERSAL for details on how to get started. You should be able to leverage this to get your algorithm onto the DM6446, even easier if your algorithm is already compliant with XDAIS.

Hi,

I already wrote canny algorithm for video in C-code with openCV, but there were pointers to the pixels of input frames, maybe is something similar for CCS and DaVinci? I can show code in CCS, maybe it will be able help you to advice me something?
