Hi, I have a TMS320C6747, and I'm trying to get started with just basic gpio pin access but I'm unsure how to do it. I have my host pc connected to the microcontroller ove the jtag and can program it fine, and I just installed everything from the full version of CCS.

I've tried following the getting started guide but I don't know which additional components (if any) I need to install. Is there a simple example where I can just access r/w gpio pins?

As a follow up, I'm running this on linux, not windows, and I can't find anything like OMAPL137_dsp_setupwin32_1_00_00_11.exe ?

And do I need BIOSPSP_01_20_00_Setup.exe or the code generation tool if I can already seemingly compile?

Thanks, but I'm just trying to develop on linux on my host machine, not run a linux kernel on the c6747 right now. I was wondering where I get information regarding GPIO programming and the like, as well as the necessary tools to install on the host system. I didn't see that on the pages you linked (and the one link to the git repo appears to be dead). Unless I missed something?

Oops, thanks, I found the link to the LSP. Should that be everything I need to communicate with the C6747 and program the pins/debug?

Hi,

If you don't want to run Kernel on your target , there are rCSL example projects for OMAPL137.

You can download them from below link.

If your host machine is Linux, you need to do a little work around .

First you need to install rCSL package on windows and later tar it and copy it on Linux .
