Face detection on DM365ZCED30

Hi,

I am trying to implement face detection on a DM365ZCED30 processor. According to certain sources, and some posts on TI, this processor does not support face detection (no 'F' suffix). What exactly is it that the FD hardware module does? Can I implement face detection at all on this processor? Any help would be much appreciated.

face detection is actually a hardware. So without the F suffix, the hardware is not enabled, you wont be able to run the FD on a non F suffix device.

Hey, but what I meant to ask was is that is there any way to implement face detection on non F suffix devices? A software solution maybe? Thanks!

Hi,
Of course you can run the FD on ARM core, But I dont think we provide such algorithm.
