Error when Installing TI-RTOS for SimpleLink.

Can you let me know what version of CCS you are on? Are you on Windows or Linux?

The link seems to have worked.

I downloaded and installed the offline TI-ROS 2_12_01_20 and it showed up in my TI folder.

Although when I go to the App Center in CCS, TI-ROS for simple link is still selectable for download.
It isn't grayed out like the other components I have installed.

That's probably because there are later versions available.
Sorry, I'm not really an expert on the App Center thing. I've seen people from time to time have download issues from the App Center.
Sometimes, its because there CCS is cluttered...sometimes its versions...I will try to see if I can reproduce the problem, otherwise its hard to know why your seeing the issue.

I guess you really mean that you installed 2_14_01_20, right?
If you go ahead and select the TI-RTOS for SimpleLink option in the App Center and click on the Install button, the next window should say at the top what version it wants to install. It would be interesting to see what it says (you don't have to proceed with the installation).

Yes, typo in the version I wrote. You are correct.

So in my TI folder 2_14_01_20 exists.

When I click on TI-ROS in the App center and click install without proceeding any further,
it attempts to install (Target Content)2.14.1.20 at the Review Licenses page.

I cannot download the .jar file.

I get:

Failed - Unknown Network Error

I don't believe we are using any proxies.

Were you using the same browser when downloading the JAR file and downloading from the link that Judah posted? Can you try using a different browser? Do you have a firewall or an antivirus software running?
This seems to be a network problem, and we'll probably have to involve someone from IT here at TI, but I would like to get as much details as possible to help them figure out what's wrong.

I use chrome all the time.

That is what I am currently using and what I used when I downloaded from software-dl.ti.com/.../index.html

Chrome is also the browser used when downloading the .jar file.

I will try shortly with IE and Firefox and see the results.

I do not use a firewall, and have Microsoft Security Essentials as the Antivirus.
Though MSE has never interfered before, when running into download issues.

If it matters, I had similar problems when trying to download Atmel's Atmel Studio. A network error cause to download to fail at 75% every single time. They are still working on that issue actually. They haven't found anything.

Tried with IE: software-dl.ti.com/.../com.ti.xdctools_3_31.base_3.31.1.33.jar couldn't be downloaded
