Dear All ,
1. We are replicating spectrum Digital EVM for recording Audio and Video with same processor and codec .
2. Using ALSA interface we captured the audio data ( in basic .wav ) example :- arecord test.wav .
This file when played back has lot of noise ( Input fed was from Windows Desktop keeping 100% volume) .
Just to verify we did an audio_input --- processor --- audio_output loop-back & verified the noise in the input path.
3. We probed the audio till the input of audio codec and figured that the quality was good with no trace of noise ( till the i/p of audio code)
But the same audio data when obtained at processor has lot of noise
Hence , would request group members / TI support team to please do share any input to debug further for the above mentioned problem .
