AM437x quad ethernet

Hello, everybody.

Did I understand right, that if PRU unit contains 2 cores, and AM437x contains 2 PRU, than it's possible to make 4 Ethernet with real time network based on PRUs? Is there any limitations?

Hi Sviatoslav,

Of the two PRU units in AM437X, only PRU1 has two MII interfaces pinned out. So two PRU-based Ethernet ports in total for AM437X.

Hi Biser,

I also would like to know about AM57xx's PRU-based Ethernet ports.
Is it the same for AM57x?
If so, it can use four PRU-based Ethernet ports because AM57xx has quad core PRU.
Are there any limitations?
