I'm a technician at an industrial electronics repair shop. I've been tasked with developing a way read and test Heidenhain position encoders. The test jig should be pretty simply, we just need to interface to the encoder and read it to ensure it is functioning. I'm looking for an ARM based board with Endat 2.2 conectivity that I can connect to a PC or use stand alone with an LCD screen, whichever is most cost effective. Any suggestions?
