Hi,

I am using EVM2E,

The IPC demo on Matrix Application Launcher works fine previously,

after updating the linux kernel using images from

ti/mcsdk_linux_3_01_03_06/images

I do it using:

root@keystone-evm:~# mkdir /mnt/boot

root@keystone-evm:~# mount -t ubifs ubi0_0 /mnt/boot

and replace these two files:

uImage-k2e-evm.dtb uImage-keystone-evm.bin

after rebooting,everything is fine,

by the IPC Demo is not working any longer.

The information are shown as the picture below:

but it works again if I flash the factory image back ,

Any help in this regard is appreciated.

Hi Kevin,

The version, mcsdk_linux_3_01_03_06 has some problem in running the image processing demo. It is been already conveyed to the factory team.

Please use the earlier version, mcsdk_linux_3_00_03_15 for image processing demo.

Hi ziyang,

There is a small correction in my previous answer.
Actually, you were asking for IPC demo and not the image processing demo right?

Let me check with the re-build ( of kernel image for K2e ) from our end and confirm the IPC demo.

Thanks for your reply.

You are right,I am talking about the IPC demo which is launched on the webpage,
I have also try to rebuild the kernel using the source code from git://git.ti.com/keystone-linux/linux.git,
But the result remains the same as using the image from mcsdk_linux_3_01_03_06/images

While doing the git clone, make sure you are using the Linux kernel version mentioned in the release of MCSDK 3.01.03.06 with the correct tag.

#git reset --hard <release tag >

For example,

#git reset --hard K2_LINUX_03.10.61_15.02

If need older kernel versions, use the below command to get list it and get it.

#git tag -l

With K2_LINUX_03.10.61_15.02, this version of linux, able to re-build and test the IPC demo successfully.

Hi Shankari,

Thanks for your effort!I think it will work with the information you provide,
It's there another way to get the source code of this version?Since the network could be very slow(only a few KiBs while Gitting)
