EVM5517, Program DSP with permanent program after reset

Hello all,

I would like to program my EVM5517 board (I'm programming the dsp), so after reset, it reboots with the program I wrote.

Right now, it reboots with the calendar on the lcd as the example from industry. I think it reboots from dsp ROM. The bootloader doesn't work on Windows 8, so I can just program the dsp RAM of the board, using Code Composer. Then, after reset, I lose my program and I see the example again.

How should I do it to write my EMV5517 so it keeps my program after reset? Can I do it using Code Composer Studio?

Thanks for you help. Yes, I already saw that, but how can we do it with actual version of Code Composer Studio 6?

Those explanations are for an outdated version, and we cannot proceed with the actual one.

Hi,

What issue are you are facing with respect to programmer and CCS version 6 ? Could you please highlight ?

Wiki page provides details on progamming a boot image onto C5517 EVM without being specific to CCS version, though this page might have been created and released when CCS version 5.5 been in effect (version previous to CCS6).

If you are having issues with CCS and OS then can re-assign this to CCS forum.
