Blending of Video Data from DM814x and Graphics from SGX enabled Graphics acceleration ?

Hello,

I wish to blend the Video output from DM814x and Graphics Output from SGX Graphics acceleration.

I have tried setting PALATTE Blenging IOCTL on /dev/fb1 , but the output is not coming as blended.

Please revert for any advice.

PALATTE Ioctl is not for that purpose. There are some sysfs entries to change the blending parameters. Please change these sysfs entries to change blending parameters.

"Graphics pipeline supports three types of alpha blending, global, palette and pixel alpha blending while Video pipeline only support global blending. "

Hi Margarita,

When I use graphics without graphics acceleration ( using linuxfb plugin that uses /dev/fb0) , then with palette based blending on fb0, I am able to achieve the Blending of graphics and video.

Can you please tell me what all sysfs enteries are set to be 1, to enable the blending of SGX accelerated graphics and Video?

Hello,

Actually, whenever I run the Power VR services, omaplfb is inserted.
This module hides the Video, but video is running in the background, as whenever I do the rmmod omaplfb, video appears

Whenever, I do the modprobe omaplfb, video gets hidden.

Please give few suggestions.
