Hello everyone
The latest C66x product is 66AK2H12, in which each C66x has 1MB L2 SRAM, 6MB MSMC, 64 channel for EDMA0, 28nm process, and so on. Compared with C6678's C66x core, each C66x core has 512KB L2SRAM, 4MB MSMC, 16 channel for EDMA0, and 40nm process, we would love to use C66x on 66AK2H12. However, as our application requires much calculation but less management. So, it is a little embarrassed to choose 66AK2H12, because we do not need ARM cores to handle management.
My question is: will TI provide upgrade version of C6678 by using 28nm or better process in the future?
Thanks
