sending Linux ethernet data to FPGA over EMIF interface

Hi,

we ported linux on to our DM6446 based custom board. the next requirement is to transfer the Linux IP data to FPGA connected to DM6446 over EMIF interface.

please guide us on

1. How to send the IP data from linux FPGA? where to extract the IP packet in linux?

2. How to handle EMIF interface in linux? is there any ready made drivers available?

Hi Satish,
We don't have separate driver for EMIF.
You have to write your own linux driver for that.
Typically we use EMIFA to interface with NAND,NOR flash.

If FPGA would act as memory like NOR then you can send the data to FPGA with CS enabled.
