Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3359
Hello!
I have a custom hardware with an AM3359 CPU here.
There are 2 EtherCAT nets, one is a genuine ET1100 connected to the CPU via SPI, the other net is the PRU.
Both LATCH0 pins are connected to the same single GPIO pin of the CPU.
I am trying to latch the DC on both nets simulatously. The CPU creates a high pulse of about 250ns on the GPIO pin.
The ET1100 always latches the clock (both rising and falling) the PRU only latches sometimes, most of the times the registers (0x09b0..0x09bf) just stay the same just as if the pulse wasn't there. When it works, the pulse length (neg edge - pos edge) is correct.
I already tried different PRU Firmware Versions including the latest, the behaviour is always the same.
Are there any known issues with the LATCH0 ?
Best regards,
