C6748 lcdk facedetect demo

Hi,

The C6748 lcdk comes with a facedemo application where the UART works fine. However after compiling the facedetect demo and burning into flash with the Aisgen Utility, the uart doesn't work.

Please help.

Hi,
Are you using the AISGen tool configuration from the following location (C6SDK location) ?
c6sdk_02_00_00_00\demos\flash\lcdk\LCDK_AISGen_Config.cfg

You have to import that file into AISGen tool for conversion.

Yes, I am using that LCDK_AISGen_Config.cfg. The application is running. I connected a VGA monitor and it's doing the facedetect feature. It's just that I don't have System_Printf() functionality.

If I turn switches 2,4 and other OFF, I have the 'Bootme' message. If I turn switches 2,3,4 and other OFF I don't have any console messages. The strange thing is that by flashing the facedetect_lcdk.bin provided in the demos works fine sending console messages.

Hi Scutum,
Sorry for the delayed response on this.
You won't get any output on UART console.
Also, "System_Printf() " won't print any prints on CCS console too instead it will get logged in RTOS ROV buffer.
